Firefighters Contain Stagecoach Drive House Fire in Under 20 Minutes
An exterior blaze on a two-story Stagecoach Drive home was extinguished in under 20 minutes Wednesday, with no injuries reported.

Firefighters from the Los Alamos Fire Department extinguished an exterior blaze at a two-story residence in the 900 block of Stagecoach Drive Wednesday afternoon, knocking the fire down in under 20 minutes with no injuries reported.
Crews arrived to find the fire burning on the outside of the home. The rapid knockdown prevented the blaze from advancing into the structure, and no occupants were hurt. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The response time and suppression window reflect the kind of swift containment that can mean the difference between exterior damage and a full structural loss, particularly in a hillside neighborhood where homes sit in close proximity and wildland-urban interface conditions can accelerate fire spread.
