RE/MAX First Offers Free Document Shredding Event April 11 in Los Alamos

RE/MAX First will bring a free document shredding truck to the Central Park Square parking lot on Saturday, April 11, giving Los Alamos residents a no-cost way to destroy sensitive paperwork before it falls into the wrong hands.

The event, called "Shred-It," runs from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., or until the truck is full, at the Central Park Square parking lot. It offers residents a safe and convenient way to declutter and securely dispose of sensitive personal documents.

"We're excited to provide this free service to our community," said owner Chris Ortega. "It's a great opportunity for residents to protect their personal information while clearing out unnecessary clutter."

The Shred-It event is part of RE/MAX First's ongoing commitment to serving the Los Alamos community by promoting organization, security, and environmental responsibility. The brokerage has hosted shred events at its Central Park Square location before, including a May 2024 event that ran with a limit of five boxes per person.
