Two Injured in Hazelwood Stabbing, Pittsburgh Commuters Face Morning Delays
Two women stabbed at a Hazelwood home Easter Sunday are in stable condition; Pittsburgh's Monday commute opens with delays on Parkway North and through Findlay.

Pittsburgh police, firefighters, and emergency medical services responded to the 300 block of Flowers Avenue in the Hazelwood neighborhood around 6:30 p.m. Easter Sunday after a report of a domestic altercation. Officers arrived to find two women inside the residence, each with stab wounds to their hands and forearms.
Both victims sustained what authorities characterized as minor injuries. Pittsburgh Emergency Medical Services transported the two women to a local hospital, where they were received in stable condition. The Pittsburgh Public Safety blotter confirmed the response involved all three emergency services but released no information on a suspect or arrest.
The Easter Sunday incident carried into the Monday morning news cycle as Pittsburgh commuters also contended with delays along two of the region's busiest corridors: Parkway North on I-279 and the Findlay Township stretch of I-376 Parkway West. PennDOT lane restriction work on the Parkway West corridor, running between Pittsburgh International Airport and the Erie/Washington/I-79 interchange, has been active since late March and is scheduled to continue through April 24, with crews conducting pavement marking operations between the Airport and Ridge Road interchanges.
The morning of April 6 marked the first full weekday commute after the Easter holiday weekend, compounding the typical Monday volume on both affected routes.
