In‑N‑Out Burger’s Cookout Truck is set to make its first-ever stop in Pahrump as Desert View Hospital prepares a 20th Anniversary Community Block Party on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the hospital campus, 360 S. Lola Lane, Marketing and Outreach Coordinator Ryan Muccio announced. “Desert View Hospital is turning 20 and inviting the entire community to celebrate at a special anniversary block party on Saturday, April 25,” Muccio said in a news release reported by the Pahrump Valley Times.

Desert View Hospital opened in 2006 and serves as the town’s critical access hospital, Chief Executive Officer Susan Davila said as she framed the event as a thank-you to patients, staff and neighbors. “Celebrating 20 years of serving this community is an incredible milestone,” Davila remarked. “We are grateful for the support of our patients, staff and neighbors. This block party is our way of giving back and saying thank you. We are excited to bring something new to Pahrump with the In‑N‑Out Cookout Truck, enjoy great music and create a fun day for families to celebrate together.”

Organizers are planning food, music and family activities aimed at drawing a broad cross-section of Pahrump. Muccio highlighted the In‑N‑Out Cookout Truck as a major attraction and noted, “The first 800 guests will receive a free meal, giving the community a rare chance to enjoy the iconic California burgers without leaving town.” The first 1,000 guests will receive goodie bags filled with giveaways, and live entertainment will be provided by POP 40, a Las Vegas-based band known for popular hits, according to community reporting.

Children’s programming and photo opportunities are part of the on-site lineup with face painting, a balloon artist and a photo booth listed on event materials. The program will also include a presentation of community donations that organizers say support healthcare services and community wellness initiatives, underscoring the hospital’s two-decade partnership with local organizations.

Desert View Hospital’s Facebook event page lists the gathering as public, shows a four-hour duration and displays the date as Saturday, April 25, 2026, with 159 people having responded at the time of the snapshot. An Instagram announcement similarly lists the time as 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For media or public questions, Desert View Hospital provided Ryan.Muccio@uhsinc.com and 775-751-7130; Pahrump Valley Times reporter Robin Hebrock can be reached at rhebrock@pvtimes.com.

Organizers say the block party will be a visible milestone for a hospital that opened in 2006 and remains Pahrump’s critical access facility; with In‑N‑Out’s rare visit, free meals for the first 800 attendees and 1,000 goodie bags, the April 25 event is positioned to be among the year’s largest community gatherings on the hospital campus.
