Grassroots Conservatives of Nevada hosted an all-candidate meet-and-greet and back-to-back commission debates at Coyote's Den, 3971 E. Kellogg Road in Pahrump, on Saturday, March 21, drawing together candidates from races spanning local courtrooms to Capitol Hill.

The meet-and-greet ran from noon to 3 p.m., giving attendees roughly three hours to speak directly with incumbents and challengers competing for a wide range of seats, including the Nye County sheriff race, local judicial races, the Nye County clerk race, and Nevada's 4th Congressional District. The formal debates followed at 3:30 p.m., with the District 5 commission race going first for approximately one hour, and the District 4 debate immediately after, also scheduled for about an hour.

Matt Sadler, chairman of Grassroots Conservatives of Nevada and himself a District 5 commissioner candidate, framed the event as a civic obligation. "Don't miss your chance to become a part of the solution and a part of the political process so we can get the government that we deserve," Sadler said.

The event brought together candidates running for a notably broad field of offices, reflecting what organizers described as a wide variety of local, statewide, and federal contests on the 2026 ballot. Among those with a presence in the cycle is Stan Hyt, who is running for Nye County sheriff.

By staging the meet-and-greet before the structured debates, G-CON built in unscripted access to candidates across multiple races before the more formal exchanges began for the two commission seats.
