The Pahrump OHV Park opens its gates this Sunday for the first of two consecutive OHV Experience Youth Rider Events, with the Town of Pahrump hosting back-to-back sessions on March 15 and March 22, 2026, each running from 9 AM to 4 PM.

The events are open to young riders of all skill levels, from first-timers to kids already logging time on the track. "Whether your child is brand-new to off-roading or already building confidence on the track, they'll find a safe, supportive, and fun environment to ride, grow, and make memories," according to the Town of Pahrump's official announcement. Eligible vehicles are limited to dirt bikes, electric bicycles, and quads under 125cc.

Getting to the park is straightforward: from Highway 160, turn onto Dandelion Street, make a right on Ironwood Avenue, and follow the road to the end. The parking lot fills quickly with bikes, helmets, and young riders, making it easy to spot.

Two items are required for every participant: a helmet and a valid Nevada OHV sticker for the vehicle. Families who need sticker assistance don't have to come prepared with everything sorted in advance. Organizers can help with a "One Time Hall Pass" and sticker information on-site.

The events also need volunteer support. Organizers are looking for people to assist with flagging, guiding riders, and keeping operations running smoothly across both days. Those interested can sign up at the park or reach out directly to Brad Harris at Brad@associatedtelecom.com.

The Town of Pahrump credited County Public Works, the OHV Park Advisory Committee, and community volunteers with making the events possible. "The park is growing, and this is just the beginning," organizers noted. For additional information, the Pahrump Town Office can be reached at (775) 727-5107 or in person at 2100 E. Walt Williams Drive, Suite #100.
