Pahrump Valley Little League Opens Spring Season With Ceremonies
Pahrump Valley Little League kicked off its spring season with opening ceremonies at Ian Deutch Memorial Park, with games already scheduled through the week.

Pahrump Valley Little League held its spring opening ceremonies at Ian Deutch Memorial Park's Field #2, located at 1600 Honeysuckle Street, with the Nye County Sheriff's Office sharing photos from the festivities and marking the official start of youth baseball in the valley.
The ceremonies took place March 21, drawing enough community attention that the local Instagram account pahrumpvalleycommunitynews posted the same day: "Little League Opening Ceremonies today!" The post collected 65 likes before the week was out.
With the season now underway, games are rolling out immediately. Monday, March 24 features three matchups: Athletics-Major against Aviators-Major at 5:00 p.m., Angels against Braves at 6:30 p.m., and Reds-Major taking on Storm-Major at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 brings four more contests, opening with Cubs-A Minors against Redsox-A Minors at 5:00 p.m., followed by Giants-T-Ball against Angels-T-Ball at 5:30 p.m., Dodgers against Athletics at 6:30 p.m., and Athletics-Major against Dodgers-Major closing the night at 7:00 p.m.
The league is also expanding its offerings. Online registration for Spring 2026 is now open with an early bird discount available, and PVLL announced it is adding Little League Girls Softball programs for the first time. Players looking to register in person for evaluations can do so from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with Juniors and Seniors assigned to Field #1 and Majors and Minors to Field #2.
PVLL President Lou Banuelos has been vocal about the league's ambitions heading into the season. "We want that competition and we want to be known," Banuelos said. "The new field at Ian Deutch Memorial Park that we only got to use at the end of the spring season will be in full play this fall."
Parents interested in fall baseball can register in person at the Little League Clubhouse from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. An early bird rate of $95 covers the full season, including practices, games, a season uniform, coaches' clinics, player clinics, and insurance, for families who sign up through the end of August. Fifty-two children had already registered for the fall season as of the most recent count reported by the league.
