SilverSummit Healthplan and NyE Communities Coalition Host Free Spring Family Health Day
Free Easter Bunny photos, custom airbrush gear, and health resources await Pahrump families today at the NyECC Activity Center on E. Wilson Road.
Pahrump families have until 7 p.m. tonight to stop by the NyECC Activity Center at 1020 E. Wilson Road for "Spring into Health: A Family Fun Day," a free three-hour community event co-hosted by SilverSummit Healthplan and the NyE Communities Coalition.
Running from 4 to 7 p.m., the event packs several no-cost offerings into a single afternoon. Attendees can take a free photo with the Easter Bunny, pick up a custom-designed t-shirt or hat from a live airbrush artist on-site, play yard games, and enjoy free food. Local community resource organizations are also represented, giving families a chance to connect with services available in the Pahrump area.
SilverSummit Healthplan staff will be available throughout the event to speak with families about health coverage and support options. The event flyer describes the setup plainly: "While the kids play, chat with our team to learn more about SilverSummit Healthplan and how we can support your family's health journey."
The event is fully bilingual. All materials, including the event flyer posted on Nevada 211, are presented in both English and Spanish, reflecting the linguistic diversity of Nye County's population.
