Three children struck in Newburgh crash, one airlifted in critical condition

Starrow Drive stayed shut for hours after a serious crash in the Town of Newburgh left three children injured and sent one by air ambulance to Westchester Medical Center in critical condition. The crash happened shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, on a stretch of road that cuts through a mixed residential and commercial area in Orange County.
