A California-based AI security company has extended its footprint in Prince George's County, announcing a deal to deploy its surveillance and remote guarding platform across a 13-building multifamily community under a partnership with an unnamed New England-based property management firm.

Cloudastructure (Nasdaq: CSAI), headquartered in Palo Alto, announced the enterprise contract on March 12. The agreement makes the New England firm the fourth major property management group in Prince George's County to contract with Cloudastructure since the county adopted its enhanced surveillance ordinance, with several of those prior contracts spanning multiple properties. The company has described the county as "one of the nation's most tightly regulated security environments for rental housing."

The deployment bundles AI-powered video surveillance, advanced security analytics, and remote guarding, with the stated goal of providing proactive protection for residents, visitors, and property assets. According to the company, county compliance requirements initially drove the property manager to seek an upgrade, but management ultimately chose Cloudastructure specifically for its remote monitoring software and integrated guarding services.

To structure the deal, Cloudastructure assembled a customized plan that included tailored financing, flexible coverage tiers, and a phased rollout tied to the property's return-on-investment targets. The company has not disclosed the contract's dollar value, the number of cameras to be installed, or a timeline for completing the phased implementation.
