Braveboy to host free PGC330 community celebration at Northwest Stadium
Braveboy will put county services on display at Northwest Stadium on April 18, with free food, music, games and access to PGC311-linked resources.

Free admission, county services and a public stage for Aisha Braveboy will converge at Northwest Stadium, where Prince George’s County will mark its 330th year with a community celebration in Parking Lot F in Landover.
The Prince George’s County 330th Community Celebration is set for Saturday, April 18, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. County materials describe the event as free, family-friendly and open to the public, and say it will go on rain or shine. The Office of Community Relations is hosting the program with partner agencies including M-NCPPC and the Department of Parks and Recreation.
The event is more than a party on the calendar. County materials frame the anniversary as a chance to honor Prince George’s County’s past, recognize the people who have shaped it and look ahead to the future. For Braveboy, the setting also puts a visible emphasis on how county government wants to meet residents where they are: through direct access to agencies, personnel and information connected to everyday services.
That practical side is built into the lineup. Residents can expect food trucks, live entertainment, games, prizes, dancing, a kids’ area, a health and wellness pavilion, a game truck and roller skating. The celebration is designed for families, but the county’s messaging makes clear that the strongest draw may be the chance to connect with government resources in person, without an appointment or a government building visit.
The Office of Community Relations is a natural fit for that role. County information says the office is also home to PGC311, the county’s connection point for residents seeking government resources, agencies and personnel. That makes the celebration a useful stop for people who want to learn where to turn for county help, community programs and service referrals while also taking part in the anniversary event itself.
Andrews Federal Credit Union is listed among the celebration’s sponsors and partners, adding a private-sector name to an event otherwise centered on county government and public services. With the county turning 330 in April 2026, Braveboy’s event at Northwest Stadium doubles as a reminder that local government is trying to package celebration, outreach and public access into one afternoon in Landover.
