Fatal Crash at Baden Intersection Kills One, Injures Another
A man was killed and a woman hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash at Letcher Road and Brandywine Road in Baden, reported just after 6 p.m. Saturday.

A man died at the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Letcher Road and Brandywine Road in Baden Saturday evening, while the driver of the second vehicle was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Prince George's County police said.
The crash was reported just after 6 p.m. The driver of one vehicle, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. An adult female driving the other vehicle was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. Neither victim had been identified by name in initial reports.
Prince George's County crash investigators closed the Letcher Road and Brandywine Road intersection while they worked the scene. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
Police have not released the cause of the collision, whether any contributing factors such as speed or impairment are suspected, or whether any charges are anticipated. No vehicle descriptions were provided in initial reports.

The Baden crash is separate from another fatal collision that occurred the same weekend in the county, in which Maryland State Police investigated a crash on the southbound lanes of U.S. Route 301 at Brandywine Road, just before midnight on Monday, that killed two people including Douglas Orlando Smith, 39, of Brandywine.
Prince George's County police have not announced when they expect to release additional details from the Baden investigation.
