Fort Washington shooting kills Temple Hills man, police ask for tips

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of 37 year old Craig Demarco Jackson of Temple Hills that occurred on December 19, 2025. Officers responded at approximately 12:15 am to the 6700 block of Botetourt Drive in Fort Washington after a report of a shooting. Detectives found Jackson outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he later died.
