Masked gunman robs 7-Eleven in Prince George's County, steals cash, cigarettes
A suspect fled a 7-Eleven on the 6200 block of Suitland Road with cash and merchandise after an armed robbery around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 26, Prince George’s County police said.

Prince George’s County police are investigating an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven on the 6200 block of Suitland Road after a suspect fled with cash and merchandise around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 26, authorities said. Police said they responded to the scene after a report of a commercial armed robbery in the area.
Police described the incident in official remarks included in local reporting: “Police say the suspect stole merchandise and cash before fleeing the scene.” Authorities also confirmed that “no one was injured during the robbery,” and that the case is active, with investigators continuing to pursue leads.

A separate account circulated online and in a Newsline summary added details not yet verified by police. According to that reporting, “a male suspect entered the store, held up the business at gunpoint, and fled the scene with cash and cigarettes.” Those elements — that the suspect was male and that the store was held at gunpoint, and that cigarettes were among items taken — have not been confirmed in a single police release.
An Instagram post has further amplified conflicting location information, naming the 7-Eleven at “99000 Greenbelt Road in Lanham, Maryland” and describing a “masked suspect” who “stole cash and cigarettes at gunpoint and fled.” That Instagram location conflicts with the FOX5 account of the 6200 block of Suitland Road; investigators have not reconciled the differing addresses and have not confirmed the Instagram details.
Fox5 reporting noted police arrival at the Suitland Road block in response to the Oct. 26 call and reiterated that the investigation remains open. Police asked the public for help: “Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact police,” the station reported, though no tipline number was published in the accounts reviewed.
No arrests or charges have been announced in connection with the robbery, and no surveillance images or detailed suspect descriptions have been released by Prince George’s County police in the reports cited. Investigators are treating the case as an active commercial armed robbery investigation and have not provided further operational details about the response or follow-up. Police continue to seek witnesses and information that can clarify the exact location, weapon used, items taken, and whether the Instagram post refers to the same incident.
