French-American Cultural Days Returns to San Francisco for Second Edition
Over 800 attendees came to the first edition; the second French-American Cultural Days brings a world premiere one-woman show to the Lycée Français on March 14.

Culture Without Borders is staging the second edition of French-American Cultural Days at the Lycée Français de San Francisco's Ortega Campus, 1201 Ortega Street, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, running from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in honor of International Francophonie Month. The festival draws on the momentum of its 2025 debut, which drew more than 800 attendees and established FACD as one of the Bay Area's more concentrated showcases of francophone arts.
The day closes with the world premiere of "Stay Trippy Little Hippy," described as a heartfelt and humorous one-woman show performed by American actress Stacey Legendre. Tickets for that performance are priced at $15, separate from the $10 general admission that covers the rest of the programming. Children under 12 enter free.
The program spans visual art, dance, photography, fashion, and live music across the Ortega Campus. Illustrator Yann Legendre presents what organizers describe as a bold visual universe through striking and expressive works, while the photography exhibition "De l'Ombre à la Lumière," created with photographer Fred Aube, explores expatriate life through light, shadow, and memory. Painter Marie Détrée, designated Official Painter of the French Navy, will have work on display; she is also in residency at the Lycée throughout March.
The San Francisco Ballet and San Francisco Girls Chorus are both on the program, and trumpet player Michel Jacquot is listed among the performers. Students from the Academy of Art University will present a fashion show, and a high-energy Krump dance session led by Alan Ark with Baybvck is also scheduled. Sjj Agency will run activities for children on-site, and floral designs by Sève are set to accent the venue throughout the day.
Eventbrite lists a no-refund policy for purchased tickets. Doors open at 10 a.m., with the Stacey Legendre world premiere anchoring the evening close at the end of a ten-hour program.
