InstaLILY AI Opens Mission Rock Office, Partners With Google DeepMind for Launch

InstaLILY AI planted its flag in San Francisco's Mission Rock neighborhood last weekend, opening a new office at Studio by Tishman Speyer and throwing a launch party co-hosted with Google DeepMind that drew leaders from across the AI, product, and venture communities.

Amit Shah, the company's Founder and CEO, announced the move on LinkedIn with characteristic brevity: "InstaLILY AI is officially bicoastal." He elaborated in the same post, writing that "Sumantro Das and I are thrilled to open the InstaLILY AI SF office's doors and bridge the gap between the East & West," and thanking Google DeepMind and Studio by Tishman Speyer for making the milestone "a true homecoming for our West Coast vision." Shah also singled out David Atchison and Shiv Singh among those who attended the celebration.

The company formally announced the San Francisco office on its news page on March 9, 2026. Studio by Tishman Speyer, which occupies a prominent position in the Mission Rock development along the waterfront, confirmed the opening in its own LinkedIn post: "InstaLILY AI has officially opened its new San Francisco office at Studio by Tishman Speyer, and we were proud to welcome them to Mission Rock." The venue's post described the evening as bringing together "leaders across AI, product, and venture to mark the beginning of this next chapter," adding that it was "energizing to see the space filled with innovators shaping what's next."

The office opening was paired with the Google DeepMind x InstaLILY AI Hackathon, held at the same Mission Rock venue around February 28. In a pre-hackathon post, the company shared advice attributed to team members Viraj Shah, Maya Magavi, and Sai Koushik, including the directive that "done and simple is greater than ambitious and broken" and the reminder that "the connections you make are half the point." The post was co-signed by Shah and Sumantro Das.

InstaLILY AI describes itself as a vertical AI platform for what it calls the physical economy, enabling businesses to deploy autonomous AI teammates it has trademarked as InstaWorkers™. Those agents run inside existing enterprise systems and are powered by InstaBrain™, a shared company brain built from domain-specific small language models. The company's tagline: "One company brain. Many AI teammates."

The San Francisco expansion follows a rapid stretch of momentum. InstaLILY raised $25 million in September 2025 to bring AI teammates to distribution industry front lines, launched its AI agents on the Google Cloud Marketplace in October 2025, and was selected for the inaugural Google for Startups Gemini Founders Forum that same month. The company's relationship with Google predates those milestones; a June 2024 announcement flagged that InstaLILY was already powered by Gemini.

Studio by Tishman Speyer framed the arrival in terms of its own mission, noting the space is "designed to support growing companies at pivotal moments like this." For InstaLILY, the pivotal moment is a West Coast beachhead from which it intends to build out what Shah called one of "the most exciting builds of the year.
