Outside Lands 2026 Lineup Revealed, Charli XCX and Rüfüs Du Sol Headliners
Charli XCX, Rüfüs Du Sol and The Strokes will headline Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park, a three-day festival Aug. 7–9 that organizers say will feature nearly 90 acts and draw more than 200,000 attendees.

Charli XCX, Rüfüs Du Sol and The Strokes top the poster for Outside Lands 2026, organizers announced when they released the full lineup on March 3, 2026 for the three-day festival at Golden Gate Park, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 7 through Sunday, Aug. 9. The announcement frames the event’s 18th year and, as CBS San Francisco noted, “On Tuesday, the festival announced nearly 90 acts that are slated to perform at the three-day festival, which takes place from Friday, Aug. 7 through Sunday, Aug. 9. Organizers noted that the lineup is subject to change.”
Beyond the three headliners, CBS San Francisco lists The xx, Baby Keem, Turnstile, Djo, Empire of the Sun and Dijon as additional top-billed artists, while the larger roster named across outlets includes Death Cab for Cutie, Wet Leg, Modest Mouse, Clipse, Tinashe, Yard Act, Geese, Lucy Dacus, Sierra Ferrell, and Ethel Cain. Local News Matters reported that San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie revealed a set of artists Monday night, saying “Disco Lines, Mariah the Scientist, Sierra Ferrell, Balu Brigada, Malcolm Todd, Wet Leg, Snow Strippers, and Destin Conrad were revealed Monday night by San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie.”
Ticketing moves fast: CBS San Francisco reported the early windows and general sale schedule, writing “Loyalty presale and Chase cardholder presale tickets for the event are scheduled to go on sale beginning Tuesday, Mar. 3 at noon. General tickets go on sale beginning at noon on Thursday, Mar. 5.” Vice’s coverage of the announcement also flagged where tickets were shown as available in the article’s shopping links, listing StubHub and Ticketmaster among outlets displayed on the page.
The festival’s scale and mix matter for San Francisco’s summer economy. Outside Lands draws more than 200,000 people to Golden Gate Park annually, and a three-day slate with nearly 90 acts concentrates demand for hotel rooms, restaurants and temporary staffing in food, beverage and onsite vendor operations. Vice described the lineup’s genre breadth and cultural vibe and even offered a practical aside for attendees: “PSA: Dress WARMLY, kids!!!”
Local cultural programming beyond music is returning as well. KALW noted the lineup “feels nostalgic, while also bringing in the artists currently doused in the limelight,” and said Outside Lands will again feature its food offerings, artisan wines and cocktails, street artists, and cannabis experiences, all of which contribute to the festival’s broader commercial footprint in the city.
Organizers and local outlets emphasize that the day-by-day schedule and exact set times are not yet released; Local News Matters and CBS say the schedule will be published closer to the event, with single-day tickets to follow when the daily schedule is posted. With presales and a general onsale already set and almost 90 acts listed, the next concrete milestones for residents and local businesses will be the detailed schedule and ticket allotments that determine travel and staffing decisions for August.
