San Juan Regional Medical Center Adds Two Specialist Providers to Expand Patient Care

San Juan Regional Medical Center expanded its clinical roster with two new specialist providers, adding nurse practitioner Jennifer Manganello to its Hospitalist Group and Dr. Kettia Guillite to My Kidney Care, LLC, both joining to serve patients across San Juan County.

Manganello's placement in the Hospitalist Group puts her at the center of inpatient care at SJRMC's Farmington campus. The Hospitalist Group seeks providers capable of delivering inpatient-only service throughout the continuum of care from admission to discharge, working within an established hospital-employed group that attends to 75% of the total inpatient census. Routine duties for the group include responding to rapid response calls and codes and assisting with admissions, consults, and discharges.

Dr. Guillite joins My Kidney Care, LLC at a moment when kidney and metabolic disease carry particular weight in the Four Corners. The prevalence of diabetes in the Four Corners area is high, and diabetes is one of the top areas of need identified in SJRMC's Community Health Needs Assessment. My Kidney Care operates as part of a broader nephrology effort at SJRMC. Providers at the practice offer a wide range of care for kidney disease management, hypertension, diabetes, and internal medicine needs.

San Juan Regional Medical Center serves as the community hospital in Farmington, delivering primary care, specialty care, surgery, 24-hour emergency care as a Level III Trauma Center, and inpatient services to the Four Corners region. The institution has been dedicated to the health and wellbeing of the community since 1910.

The additions of Manganello and Guillite reflect SJRMC's continued effort to close specialist gaps in a region that draws patients from New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah.
