Heart Performs in Rio Rancho, Lucinda Williams Joins Royal Flush Tour

Heart played the Rio Rancho Events Center on Saturday, March 7, 2026, with Americana singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams joining the bill for the 7:30 p.m. performance at 3001 Civic Center Circle NE in Rio Rancho. Tickets for the show started at $76.70 through Ticketmaster, and the venue listed free parking for concertgoers.

The appearance was part of Heart’s "Royal Flush" tour, a run first announced in 2024 and later postponed after lead singer Ann Wilson’s cancer diagnosis. The band resumed dates this year as what organizers described as the last run of the tour, bringing classic Heart material such as "Barracuda" and "Alone" back to stage sets that the venue promoted with the line, "The voices behind hits like 'Barracuda' and 'Alone' are coming to light up the stage in Rio Rancho!"

Nancy Wilson, Heart’s guitarist and Ann Wilson’s sister, framed the current leg as intentionally routed through smaller, more intimate stops: "We’re playing some smaller towns, more kind of intimate places, and that’s always really a blast to be able to feel like you’re connecting with people kind of close up." She said the return to touring after a short break and her sister "beating the a of cancer" had felt melancholy but was an accomplishment, and added, "(It) feels like a gift to come out and just have big rock parties some more." Wilson also reflected on the tour’s emotional valence: "It’s the stolen moments that you were not sure you would get back and so it’s extra sweet and meaningful."

Musically, Nancy Wilson emphasized Heart’s continuity with its 1970s signature sound, saying, "The character of what it is we know how to do is further and further from what you commonly hear in new music these days." She also outlined work on a forthcoming album that will blend material from Ann Wilson’s backing band Tripsitter, pieces Nancy wrote with longtime collaborator Sue Ennis, and new material the Wilson sisters create together.

Ticketing logistics for the Rio Rancho stop were set well in advance: a pre-sale ran Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with tickets on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The venue categorized the concert as a featured rock event and listed related upcoming shows, including the Harlem Globetrotters on April 2, 2026, and MercyMe on April 9, 2026.

This March 7 performance sat inside an extended U.S. leg that began Feb. 15 in Duluth, Georgia, and continued through mid-March, with entries around the Rio Rancho date including Feb. 22 in Huntsville, AL @ Von Braun Center - Propst Arena +, March 3 in San Antonio, TX @ Majestic Theatre \, March 6 in El Paso, TX @ El Paso County Coliseum +, and March 9 in Colorado Springs, CO @ Broadmoor World Arena +. Ultimate Classic Rock’s published itinerary noted that Lucinda Williams would open select dates of the extended leg. As Heart completes the remaining "Royal Flush" stops and works on new recordings, the band has centered both intimacy and recovery as defining elements of this phase of their touring life.
