Altamonte Springs police seek missing endangered man, may be in Casselberry, Longwood
Altamonte Springs police are searching for 38-year-old Alex Paret, last seen near West Town Parkway and asked residents in Casselberry and Longwood to watch for his distinctive tattoo and clothing.

Altamonte Springs police are searching for 38-year-old Alex Paret, who was last seen walking out of the Raven Crossings Apartments off West Town Parkway near State Road 434 and State Road 436, and investigators say he may be in Casselberry or Longwood. Officers are treating the case as a missing endangered person investigation after a loved one told police Paret was vulnerable because of his current mental status.
Paret is described as having dark skin, black hair and brown eyes. Police said he has a full-sleeve tattoo on his right arm with skulls and faces, a detail that could make him easier to spot in grocery stores, parking lots, gas stations and apartment complexes across central Seminole County. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a red long-sleeved shirt, black pants and red-and-black sneakers.
The alert matters because the search area stretches beyond one neighborhood and now includes several nearby communities where people move quickly along the county’s major corridors. Residents in Casselberry, Longwood and surrounding parts of Seminole County are being asked to stay alert for a man who may not understand where he is or how to get help on his own.
Anyone who sees Paret or knows where he went after leaving the apartment complex should call Altamonte Springs police at 407-339-2441 or 911 immediately. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse serves as the state’s central repository for these cases and helps law enforcement coordinate searches and alerts. Its hotline is 1-888-FL-MISSING, or 1-888-356-4774.
Altamonte Springs police also operate a Community-Oriented Police Services Center inside Altamonte Mall and run programs including Elder Services and Citizens at Risk, part of the department’s broader focus on vulnerable residents. Seminole County’s 2024 demographic snapshot places nearby ZIP codes 32701, 32707, 32730, 32750 and 32779 in the area that overlaps Altamonte Springs, Casselberry and Longwood, showing how many neighborhoods sit within the search radius as officers continue looking for Paret.
