Casselberry Earth Fest 26 Brings Free Trees, Wellness Events to Lake Concord Park
Free trees and a new wellness area come to Lake Concord Park as Casselberry's Earth Fest '26 marks its 16th year on April 18.

Casselberry's 16th annual Earth Fest '26, billed as Seminole County's largest Earth Day celebration, will bring free tree giveaways, butterfly releases, and a first-ever wellness programming area to Lake Concord Park on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
The event is organized by the City of Casselberry and Casselberry's Friends of the Park, with backing from the Casselberry Rotary Club, UF-IFAS, Keep Seminole Beautiful, and the Central Florida Zoo. The festival grounds sit off Triplet Lake Drive, directly behind Casselberry City Hall.
This year's headline addition is "Wellness in the Park," a dedicated area featuring health and fitness programming that runs alongside Earth Fest's established lineup: gardening workshops, a kids' zone, artisan vendors, and the free tree and plant giveaways that have made the event a fixture on Casselberry's civic calendar. The wellness expansion connects to the city's ongoing "Healthy Community" initiative, pairing environmental stewardship with public health education under one roof.
The Casselberry Art Center will serve as the venue for an associated Recycled Art Show, giving local artists a platform to exhibit work made from recovered materials. The exhibit reflects the same ethos driving the broader festival.
UF-IFAS participation adds practical depth to the programming. Extension-led sessions on lakeshore management and sustainable gardening are aimed at reducing residential runoff into local waterways, a concern that has drawn sustained attention at the county level. Those sessions offer hands-on guidance for homeowners whose properties border Casselberry's lakes.
Vendors and health practitioners interested in participating are asked to register in advance through the Friends of the Park. The festival is also timed to coincide with Arbor Day activities, and the free tree giveaways directly support Casselberry's urban canopy goals, making April 18 one of the few days residents can leave a city event with something to plant.
