Longwood Names Country Club Pet World VP Its March Business Person
Longwood honored January Shepherd, VP of Country Club Pet World, as its March 2026 Business Person of the Month in a city NewsFlash posted March 5.

January Shepherd, vice president of Country Club Pet World, has been named the City of Longwood's Business Person of the Month for March 2026, the city announced in a March 5 NewsFlash.
The city credited Shepherd's "leadership, dedication to customer service, and commitment to our community" as the basis for the honor. In its official announcement, Longwood said Shepherd's "hard work and passion help strengthen our local business community and set a standard of excellence" and described the recognition as well-deserved.
Country Club Pet World is a Longwood-area business, and Shepherd's role as vice president places her among the local business leaders the city periodically spotlights through its monthly recognition program. The city's NewsFlash, which reaches residents through Longwood's official communications channel, called on the community to join in congratulating Shepherd on the award.

The March honor was one of several items in the same NewsFlash edition. The city also promoted the 4th Annual City of Longwood Walk for Autism, a family-friendly event scheduled for Saturday, April 25, focused on awareness, acceptance, and inclusion. Separately, the NewsFlash included a reminder for Seminole County voters to confirm their registration information ahead of two upcoming elections: the 2026 Florida Primary on August 18 and the General Election on November 3. Voter registration deadlines fall on July 20 for the primary and October 5 for the general election. Residents can check or update their registration at VoteSeminole.gov.
