Twenty-nine student musicians from the Elwood Union Free School District have been selected for the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association All-County Festivals, and their work will culminate in performances scheduled for March 14 and March 15 at St. Anthony’s High School, according to a March 5 announcement by Patch and a district social post. Patch reporter Kepherd Daniel framed the selection as “showcasing the strength of the Elwood Union Free School District’s music education program, 29 student musicians have been selected to participate in the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association All-County Festivals.”

Patch and the Elwoodufsd social media post list the full 2026 roster by school. From James H. Boyd Intermediate School the selected students are Robert Aquila, Amelie Brody, Zoey Coutrier, Sadie Hasher, Logan Moran and Harper Shifrin. From Elwood Middle School the selected students are Victoria Agrawal, William Brchnel, Sienna Boremski, Nora Brzezinski, Daniel D’Angeli, Madelyn DiLeone, Kailyn Dowlatram, Zoey Jung, Areeba Malhi, Allen McKenzie, Olivia Portugal, Melanie Shek and Brynn Winters. From Elwood-John H. Glenn High School the selected students are Mia Cruz, Gregory Gross, Mitchell Gross, Danika Jhaveri, Jewel Li, Madelyn Moreno, Ryan Myers, Logan Ouziel, Logan Yabut and Camille Zreik.

Patch outlined the festival schedule and education value, reporting that “the selected students will spend two weekends rehearsing challenging, high-level repertoire alongside top young musicians from across Suffolk County,” and that “the All-County Festivals bring together the county’s most talented student musicians, offering them the opportunity to collaborate, rehearse advanced musical selections, and perform under the direction of distinguished guest conductors.” The district’s social post included a collage of student photos on a blue and purple background and repeated the Patch roster; the post contained an internal artifact line reading, "DO NOT REMOVE!!! This is for horizontal decorative rule."

Long Island Media Group published a separate account that used the headline "Two Dozen Elwood Student-Musicians Chosen For SCMEA All-County" and named specific students with instrument and grade assignments tied to West Division concerts at Huntington High School on March 9 and March 10. LIMG listed Margarita Agrawal, viola, and Angelica Viviani, voice, and sophomores Peter Bell, clarinet; Aaleshan Jamal, trombone; Raim Kim, violin; Olivia LoBue, voice; and Emma Rothleder, violin for a West Division III March 9 concert, and cited James H. Boyd fifth graders Ella Zwang, voice; Daniel D’Angeli, trumpet; Nicholas Mandelbaum, voice; Raho Kim, violin; and Elwood Middle School sixth graders Victoria Agrawal, cello; Sophie Bagshaw, clarinet; Nora Brzezinski, voice; and Lukas Davis, viola for a West Division I March 10 concert, with photos credited as "Photos courtesy of Elwood School District."

The LIMG count and the March 9 and March 10 division concert dates conflict with the Patch roster and March 14–15 culminating performances; Patch’s March 5 roster totals 29 students and is corroborated by the Elwoodufsd post. Historical context for the All-County program appears in archival reporting: a 2020 Northport/Patch item republished by Yahoo noted that the 2020 festival was canceled due to the new coronavirus and that the district planned a video of student performance clips.

Key outstanding verification items remain: confirm the 2026 grade and instrument assignments for each named student, clarify whether the LIMG-listed March 9 and March 10 West Division concerts correspond to the 2026 All-County season and which of the 29 students, if any, perform on those dates, and obtain performance times and ticketing details for the March 14 and 15 concerts at St. Anthony’s High School. Photos used in coverage are credited to the Elwood School District per LIMG and the district social post.
