Sunapee Issues RFQ to Develop Unified Municipal Brand Identity
Sunapee is searching for a branding firm to build a unified municipal identity, with proposals due April 16.

The Town of Sunapee took a step toward reshaping how it presents itself to the public, issuing a Request for Qualifications on March 5 seeking an experienced branding and communications firm to develop a unified municipal brand identity and provide strategic communications and public-education support.
The solicitation, formally titled "Branding and Communications Services (Request for Qualifications)," describes a comprehensive branding and communications framework covering a broad range of potential services. According to the town's posting, those services may include brand identity development, physical and operational applications, digital and print standards, communications and public education support, and implementation assistance. Firms interested in submitting qualifications have until April 16 to respond, with a deadline of March 20 for submitting questions about the RFQ.
The scope signals an intention to bring consistency across the town's visual and communications presence, touching everything from signage and printed materials to digital platforms and how the municipality educates the public about its services and initiatives. No budget figure was disclosed in the posting, and the town has not publicly identified a contact person or specified a submission address for the RFQ responses.

The branding solicitation is one of several active procurements the town has posted in recent months. Sunapee also issued a call for sealed bids on the sale of a surplus 1994 Mack/Pierce Fire Engine, listing the vehicle with approximately 19,575 miles and 1,687 engine hours on its chassis. A separate solicitation for the Sargent Road Bridge Replacement Project was posted in December 2025.
With the questions deadline just one week away, firms eyeing the branding contract will need to move quickly before that March 20 cutoff closes off the window for clarifications.
