New Park City Manager Adam Lenhard Aims to Build Unified Team
Mayor Ryan Dickey selected Adam Lenhard as Park City's next city manager after a nationwide search; the council votes on his confirmation March 19.

After a nationwide recruitment process, Mayor Ryan Dickey has selected Adam Lenhard to serve as Park City's next city manager, with a confirmation vote scheduled before the Park City Council at its regular meeting on March 19.
If confirmed, Lenhard will lead Park City Municipal's administrative operations and take responsibility for the city's day-to-day services, employees, and strategic initiatives. The appointment follows the procedure outlined in Park City Code §2-4-1, which grants the mayor authority to appoint a city manager with the advice and consent of the council.
Lenhard arrives from the private sector, where he has worked since 2023 as a director in the construction industry. Mayor Dickey pointed to that organizational experience, along with a more specific public-sector background, as central to his selection.
"Adam brings a strong track record of organizational leadership and a deep background in city management and land use planning," Dickey said. "Throughout this process, he demonstrated a thoughtful approach and a clear understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing our community. I appreciate the Council's support throughout the recruitment and look forward to working together as we take this next step forward for Park City."
Lenhard has signaled that collaboration and continuity will anchor his approach. He acknowledged the organization's standing reputation while emphasizing his intent to engage broadly across the city's stakeholders.

"I'm honored to have the Mayor's trust and grateful for the Council's support, and I look forward to serving Park City," Lenhard said. "Park City Municipal has built an exceptional reputation for providing a high level of service to residents, businesses, and visitors. I'm excited to work with the Mayor, City Council, the team, and all the community stakeholders to continue that tradition and help guide the organization forward."
Lenhard has also expressed a commitment to transparency and community engagement as part of his broader vision for the role, intending to build a cohesive internal team at Park City Municipal.
The Park City Council's March 19 meeting, where the confirmation vote is expected to take place, will be held at City Hall, 445 Marsac Avenue. The city's main line is 435-615-5000.
