Gavin Alexander Dehaven, 25, of Mount Carmel, allegedly held a woman against her will for several hours inside a Lewisburg hotel room. Buffalo Valley Regional Police responded around 11:30 p.m. on March 8 to the hotel after staff raised the alarm.

Police say staff called after receiving an anonymous report of an abduction. Officers responded to the Comfort Suites in Lewisburg, where Dehaven was charged shortly after their arrival.

Police charged Dehaven with a misdemeanor count of false imprisonment and summary harassment through the office of District Judge Jeffrey A. Rowe. Bail was set at $2,500, which Dehaven posted.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 26.
