Los Lunas to Host VALEO March 10, Posts Possible Quorum Notice
Los Lunas posted a "Notice of Possible Quorum VALEO" for Tuesday, March 10 at 6:00 p.m., to host the Valencia Association of Local Elected Officials at the Los Lunas Transportation Center.

The Village of Los Lunas posted an official "Notice of Possible Quorum VALEO" on its website announcing that it will host the Valencia Association of Local Elected Officials quarterly meeting on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting is scheduled at the Los Lunas Transportation Center, 101 Courthouse Road SE, Los Lunas, NM 87031, and the village calendar entry lists Village of Los Lunas contact information at 660 Main St. NW with phone (505) 839-3840.
VALEO’s stated purpose on past agendas is to bring together municipal and county leaders to explore regional collaboration on economic development, housing, infrastructure, and quality-of-life improvements, language attributed to Mayor Robert C. Noblin on the Nov. 18, 2025 VALEO agenda. That Nov. 18 agenda also laid out routine business items such as call to order, introductions, review of past minutes and a future meeting schedule for 2026.
Los Lunas has hosted VALEO meetings before at the same Transportation Center: the Aug. 20, 2024 minutes show Mayor Charles Griego calling the meeting to order and attendees including Gregory Martin, Village Administrator; Erin Callahan, Deputy Village Administrator; Victoria Archuleta, Senior Economic Developer; Commissioner Gerard Saiz; County Manager Danny Monette; and Jhonathan Aragon, Deputy, among others. Those minutes record regional project discussion including the Village’s partnership with Bernalillo County and Sandoval County on the I-40 TradePort Corridor project and the Village’s recent $14,000 outdoor marketing grant to complete a promotional video for the area.
Economic development and housing have been recurring themes at VALEO sessions: Victoria Archuleta, listed in the Aug. 20, 2024 minutes as senior economic developer for the Village of Los Lunas, said she has found Los Lunas "a great experience" and described growth in Los Lunas and Valencia County as "tremendous." The Aug. 20 minutes preserve Archuleta’s direct line that "Los Lunas is the second fastest-growing community in New Mexico." The minutes also record Mayor Griego noting that the increased cost of housing is an issue the region must confront.
The Nov. 18, 2025 agenda included a "Future VALEO Meeting Schedule" showing Feb. 17, 2026 in Bosque Farms, May 19, 2026 in Valencia County, Aug. 18, 2026 in Los Lunas and Nov. 17, 2026 in Belen. That schedule did not list a March 10, 2026 meeting; Los Lunas’ calendar posting of a March 10 notice appears as an additional public posting and the available materials do not state whether the March 10 entry replaces or supplements the previously posted schedule.
Past VALEO hospitality notes indicate hosts have provided refreshments: the Aug. 20, 2024 minutes state "Attendees were invited to help themselves to the food provided by the Village of Los Lunas," and the Nov. 18, 2025 agenda included "Please help yourself to food, courtesy of the City of Belen." The Los Lunas calendar page also displays site navigation items and a staff directory, and offers a place to manage notification subscriptions for updates.
Anyone seeking confirmation of March 10 meeting details, an agenda, or logistics may contact the Village of Los Lunas at 660 Main St. NW, Los Lunas, NM 87031, phone (505) 839-3840. The village will host VALEO at 101 Courthouse Road SE at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
