Lenovo Center opened a new 300-level hospitality space called the View Bar during the NC State-UNC men’s basketball game, giving fans a court-facing social platform between sections 317–319. The venue made its public debut Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, during the in-state rivalry matchup at the Raleigh arena.

Brian Fork, CEO of Hurricanes Holdings, announced the opening in a news release and framed the View Bar as broadly available to attendees. “We’re thrilled to introduce this state-of-the-art amenity for fans visiting Lenovo Center,” Fork said. “Open to all fans in attendance, the View Bar provides a gathering space to grab a drink on the third level without losing sight of the action.”

Ticketing and access language varies by source. NC State Athletics’ Pack Athletics materials say the View Bar “will be accessible to all fans with a Terrace-level ticket,” while the Hurricanes and venue press materials and coverage from WRAL and Pollstar describe the space as “open to all fans.” The venue has not issued a single consolidated public statement reconciling those exact ticketing phrases; the Pack Athletics line ties access to Terrace-level tickets while the PR emphasizes general availability to attendees.

At launch the View Bar’s beverage slate and service model were described in differing terms. Pack Athletics says the View Bar “will initially offer a rotating selection of packaged beer, wine, craft cocktails, popular spirits, and non-alcoholic options as the space continues to come online. Additional offerings will be introduced over time as the area is further developed.” Pollstar characterized the platform as a full-service bar and gathering platform that overlooks the 700,000-square-foot arena.

The View Bar is one element of an ongoing upgrade to Lenovo Center’s 300 level. Pack Athletics called the opening “another milestone in the ongoing enhancements to the 300 level,” and several outlets note construction continues on a new grab-and-go concession location and a complete renovation of all 300-level restrooms. WRAL places the View Bar inside a broader, ongoing $300-million renovation of Lenovo Center and reports projected seating changes tied to that program - basketball capacity expected to grow by approximately 663 seats to 20,450 and hockey capacity to increase by about 694 seats to roughly 19,606, with full-arena concert configurations reaching about 21,266 seats. WRAL also notes the $300-million renovation is separate from plans for an entertainment district around the arena.

The View Bar is scheduled to appear beyond basketball: WRAL, Pollstar and Hurricanes materials say the space is expected to be open for select concerts and events and will make its hockey-game debut when the Carolina Hurricanes host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Feb. 26, 2026. PR photo assets accompanying the announcement include a gallery credited in part to Josh Lavallee/Carolina Hurricanes and images listed as courtesy of Lenovo Center.

The new hospitality platform gives Raleigh fans an elevated third-level option for socializing during high-profile events, while the venue’s phased rollout and remaining 300-level work signal more visible changes to Lenovo Center’s fan experience and capacity in the weeks ahead.
