Reformation to Open First Raleigh Store in North Hills in 2026
Reformation will open its first Raleigh store in North Hills in early 2026, bringing sustainable womenswear and expanded shopping options to Midtown residents.

Kane Realty Corporation announced Jan. 22 that Reformation, the sustainable womenswear brand, will open its first Raleigh location in the Main District of North Hills in the first half of 2026. The new store will sit between J.Crew and Veronica Beard, anchoring a stretch of national brands in a key Midtown retail corridor.
“North Hills continues to attract retailers that blend style, quality, and experience, and we’re pleased to welcome Reformation to Raleigh,” said Stacey Buescher, Managing Director of Operations for Kane Realty Corporation. “Their commitment to sustainable, fashion-forward design aligns perfectly with what our community values.”
Founded in 2009, Reformation markets vintage-inspired apparel and lifestyle goods including dresses, separates, denim, sweaters, shoes and bags. The company has made formal sustainability commitments: it aims to be Climate Positive by 2025 and Circular by 2030, its products have been climate neutral since 2015, and the business has been Climate Neutral Certified since 2021. The Raleigh store will be the brand’s second in North Carolina, joining an existing location in Charlotte.
For local shoppers, the announcement underscores North Hills’ continued role as a destination for sought-after national and regional retailers. The Main District’s tenant mix has emphasized fashion and dining to draw daytime and evening traffic; Reformation’s arrival is likely to broaden the apparel options for Midtown residents who prioritize eco-conscious labels and trend-forward design.
Economic effects for Wake County will be modest but tangible. The new lease strengthens Kane Realty’s retail roster, which supports foot traffic for neighboring merchants and restaurants. Retail openings typically generate hourly and managerial positions; while Kane Realty has not published staffing numbers for the Raleigh location, community members can anticipate hiring announcements as the opening approaches. The store’s presence may also help North Hills maintain higher leasing demand compared with other suburban retail centers.
Reformation’s sustainability credentials may influence local demand patterns by attracting customers from a wider area of Raleigh and Wake County, particularly younger and environmentally minded shoppers. For owners and managers at adjacent retailers, the addition of another national fashion brand reinforces the Main District’s competitive positioning against other shopping destinations in Raleigh.
Kane Realty said Reformation will open in the first half of 2026; more operational details and hiring information are expected closer to the launch. For now, Midtown shoppers can look forward to another retail option that emphasizes sustainable design and national brand recognition. For more information, visit Reformation.com.
