On November 25 Housing America Corporation informed residents and the wider community that it has teamed up with Toys for Tots to run a countywide toy drive. Organizers are accepting donations at the corporation s Somerton office, located at 130 N. State Avenue.

The donation site is open Monday through Thursday from 7 00 a.m. to 5 30 p.m. and on Friday from 8 00 a.m. to noon. The deadline to drop off gifts is Friday, December 12. By providing a defined local drop off location and extended weekday hours, the drive aims to make it easier for neighbors, employers and community groups to contribute during the busy holiday period.
