11 Arrested in Multi-County Operation Snow White Across Southwestern Indiana, Owensboro
Eleven people were taken into custody after simultaneous warrants March 3 in Dubois, Orange, Spencer, Warrick, Perry counties and Owensboro, Kentucky during a multi‑agency narcotics probe called Operation: Snow White.

Operation: Snow White culminated in 11 arrests after coordinated warrant executions across southwestern Indiana counties and Owensboro, Kentucky, with law enforcement taking suspects into custody on March 3 and some appearing in court March 4. The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office led the effort and described it as the result of months‑long narcotics investigations.
Dubois County Elected Prosecutor Beth Schroeder announced the operation and said the effort was organized by her office in partnership with multiple local agencies. “Combatting the flow of illicit substances in Dubois County and holding accountable those individuals who exploit addiction for profit remains a top priority of the Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office,” the office said.
The 11 people named in consolidated arrest lists provided by regional reporting are Andrew Benales, 22, of Paoli; Avery Northerner, 37, of Tell City; Bobbie Nadeau, 42, of French Lick; Bryor Shipman, 24, of French Lick; Kaylin McKinney, 26, of French Lick; Darrel Harris Jr., 35, of Huntingburg; Juan Sanchez, 22, of Jasper; Saul Reyes, 21, of Jasper; Jefferey Sandage, 53, of Tell City; Shannon Simmons, 54, of Cannelton; and Zachary Hill, 47, of Dale.
Law enforcement held seven of the arrestees at the Dubois County Security Center after arresting them without incident: Benales, Sanchez, Nadeau, McKinney, Shipman, Hill, and Simmons. Those seven appeared in Dubois Superior Court on March 4 for initial hearings. Saul Reyes was arrested in Owensboro and is being held there. WJTS reported that remaining defendants who are currently incarcerated in neighboring counties “will be transported to Dubois County for hearings at a later date and are being held without bond on these warrants.”
Searches tied to the operation produced documented evidence at two locations. At the execution of Andrew Benales’ warrant investigators reportedly recovered 10.5 grams of pressed methamphetamine pills, 595 Xanax pills, cocaine and a handgun. At Bobbie Nadeau’s warrant investigators reportedly recovered methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. No other detailed seizure inventories were published in the available material.

The prosecutor’s office framed the arrests as part of an ongoing enforcement campaign: “In 2025 alone, the Prosecutor’s Office filed felony drug dealing charges against 23 individuals, reflecting an ongoing and aggressive effort to disrupt the distribution of dangerous narcotics within our communities. These cases are rarely simple or swift. They are often the result of extensive and prolonged narcotics investigations involving coordinated police surveillance, carefully planned controlled purchases, the execution of search warrants, detailed evidence review, and hours of report preparation. Each case requires strong collaboration.”
Agencies listed as participants include the Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office, Jasper Police Department, Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, Huntingburg Police Department and Indiana State Police, with additional assisting agencies participating in the simultaneous warrant executions across Dubois, Orange, Spencer, Warrick and Perry counties and Owensboro, Kentucky.
Procedurally, initial hearings have begun for suspects held locally, while other defendants will be transported to Dubois County for hearings at later dates. Prosecutors described the arrests as felony drug dealing or various drug dealing offenses tied to activity in Dubois County; formal charging documents and bond amounts were not published in the materials available. A historical note: the 1978 federal case also called Operation Snow White is unrelated to this 2026 narcotics investigation.
