42nd Hong Kong Jewellery Show Opens with New Pavilions, 4,000 Exhibitors
Beneath HKCEC's soaring glass canopy, the 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show opened March 4, bringing 4,000 exhibitors and a slate of new pavilions and competitions.

The 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show opened on March 4, 2026 (runs March 4–8) alongside the Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show." The event settled beneath the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre's soaring glass canopy and began what organisers and exhibitors are calling a five-day industry showcase that concentrates sourcing, design and wholesale activity in one place.
"Running concurrently with the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show at AsiaWorld-Expo, these twin fairs unite 4,000 exhibitors from over 40 countries, transforming Hong Kong into a living gallery of sparkle, history, and technical mastery." The parallel placement of the jewellery show at HKCEC and the diamond, gem and pearl programme at AsiaWorld-Expo is intended to create a single sourcing circuit for buyers; an official social post for the Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show also advertises a free shuttle and lists the show dates as "2-6/3/2026," a scheduling detail attendees will want to note when planning transfers between venues.
This year's edition debuts new pavilions and an expanded exhibition zone. "New exhibition zone highlights creative craftsmanship from around the world; results of two major design competitions announced today." Organisers report that the Hall of Fame has been increased by 40 percent to accommodate an expanded roster of historic makers and contemporary innovators, underscoring the show's emphasis on both heritage techniques and technical mastery.
Design competitions are already shaping the floor narrative. "Today, the Hong Kong International Fashion Chuk Kam Jewellery Design Competition celebrated its winners, pieces crafted for ASEAN and Middle Eastern markets that marry cultural depth with commercial grace." The inaugural International Fei Cui Jewellery Design Competition is slated for the next day, framed as a showcase "honouring designers who weave jadeite traditions with global aesthetics." Finance-oriented coverage also noted that results from two major design competitions were announced on opening day, placing design awards at the centre of the show's commercial storytelling.

On the ground, local designers are staking visible claims. Hong Kong designer Austy Lee, at Booth CEC 1EF32, launched a zebra-inspired bangle tied to the Year of the Horse motif, a literal leap between motif and market. The atmosphere has been brisk: "Throngs of people here to see the displays," a concise observation that captures the crowds moving from booth to booth and the brisk, orders-focused conversations beneath the glass canopy.
For visitors seeking product categories and navigation, JGW listings break the event into dedicated halls: JGW Gemstones occupy Halls 3, 6, 8 and 10; JGW Diamonds & Fine Gems sit in Halls 5, 7, 9 and 11; and JGW Pearls+ fills Halls 1 and 2. The show continues through March 8, with pavilion debuts, competition results and designer launches scheduled across the remaining days, offering buyers and collectors concentrated access to 4,000 exhibitors and the new curatorial programs that organisers have assembled for 2026.
