American National Bank of Texas Opens Heath Banking Center With Ribbon Cutting
American National Bank of Texas opened a Heath banking center at 482 Laurence Dr. with a ribbon cutting, bringing expanded business and commercial lending to Rockwall County residents.

American National Bank of Texas (ANBTX) held a ribbon cutting for its new Heath banking center at 482 Laurence Dr. on Feb. 5, 2026, marking the bank’s fourth location in Rockwall County and a continued expansion of local lending capacity. The opening adds to ANBTX’s North Texas footprint, which Blueribbonnews notes now exceeds more than 30 locations, and forms part of the bank’s year-long 150th anniversary activities.
The Rockwall Area Chamber invited community members and chamber partners to attend the official ribbon cutting and networking around the new Heath location. An Instagram announcement for the Heath opening listed Grand Opening hours as “3:00–7:00 PM” and began to list the ribbon cutting time: “Join us in celebrating the opening of American National Bank's new Heath location! Grand Opening: 3:00–7:00 PM ✂️ Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: 3:” The Heath center will offer a full suite of services, including business and commercial lending, according to Blueribbonnews, positioning the branch to serve local small businesses and families in one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas.
ANBTX has been active across the region while celebrating its sesquicentennial. Businesswire described a separate grand opening at the bank’s loan production office in South Dallas’ Fair Park at 820 Exposition Ave., reporting that “the grand opening ceremony included a ribbon cutting and featured a lineup of distinguished public officials and community leaders, including Sen. Royce West and representatives from the offices of Dallas Councilmember Adam Bazaldua, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, Sen. John Cornyn, and Commissioner John Wiley Price.” At that event ANBTX “awarded $10,000 to Dallas City Homes (DCH) to support the nonprofit’s vital mission to create healthy and sustainable communities,” an example of the bank’s community reinvestment efforts.
Earlier regional expansion included a Roanoke branch that opened May 30, 2025, at 409 S. Oak Street. The Metroport Chamber reported that the two-story, 13,000-square-foot Roanoke facility provides personal and business accounts, loan consultations, and advanced financial technology solutions, and that the grand opening featured live music and refreshments.
For Heath residents and business owners, the new ANBTX location means more local options for commercial loans, mortgage services, and in-person banking relationships. Blueribbonnews framed the Heath opening as reinforcing “ANBTX’s long-standing commitment to supporting economic growth as well as the local businesses and families in the communities it serves.” A larger grand-opening celebration for Heath is also planned in early 2026, per Blueribbonnews.
Practical details: the Heath center address is 482 Laurence Dr., and the Rockwall Area Chamber listed a ribbon cutting and networking event; social posts indicated a 3:00–7:00 PM grand opening window. Residents seeking specifics on hours, services, or upcoming celebratory events should consult the Rockwall Area Chamber events page or ANBTX’s local announcements for updated times and programming.
