Autism Unboxed Opens ABA Clinic in Downtown Wellston; Ribbon-Cutting Feb. 28

Precious Lung, founder and Clinical Director of Autism Unboxed, LLC, was welcomed to downtown Wellston as the clinic held a formal ribbon-cutting on Feb. 28, 2026, at 16 N. Ohio Avenue. Vinton/Jackson Courier identified Lung as the only Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Jackson County, marking a notable local expansion of Applied Behavior Analysis services.

Mayor Anthony Brenner attended the ceremony alongside numerous local dignitaries, staff and supporters, with Vinton reporting the ribbon-cutting was scheduled for 10 a.m. Telegram noted the practice “has been operating and involved in the community since May 2025.” Telegram’s coverage also included the line, “Though Autism Unboxed has been operating and involved in the community since May 2025, Mayor Anthony Brenner commented that he is no less thrilled now to see a new business add to the services that Wellston can offer residents and visitors.” Telegram photos were credited to Alex Shope.

Autism Unboxed offers an ABA therapy program as its core service, plus standalone parent training, social skills groups and school consultations, the provider’s website and local reports state. Services are delivered by a team of Registered Behavior Technicians under BCBA oversight; staff listed on the Autism Unboxed site include RBTs Amber Montgomery, Bailee Spies, Susan Fannin, Catherine Livingston, Brenlyn Baxter and Andrea Dixon, with Brianna Hensler serving as office manager.

Vinton reported that, at present, all Autism Unboxed clients are age 10 and under and that the center plans to begin serving teens once it hires an additional BCBA. Telegram’s note that the practice has been active since May 2025 provides context for the Feb. 28 ribbon-cutting as a formal public opening rather than the start of clinical services.
