Best Home Furnishings Named Presenting Sponsor for 2026 Ferdinand Heimatfest
Best Home Furnishings was named presenting sponsor for the 2026 Ferdinand Heimatfest, boosting funding for family events and community endowments ahead of the June 19–20 celebration.

Best Home Furnishings was named the presenting sponsor of the 2026 Ferdinand Heimatfest, the two-day community celebration scheduled for June 19–20, 2026 that draws thousands of visitors each year. Organizers and the company say the partnership will help expand family programming and sustain the festival’s long-running role in Ferdinand’s summer calendar.
Neil Weyer of the Ferdinand Heimatfest Committee welcomed the new sponsor, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome Best Home Furnishings as our presenting sponsor. Their commitment to our community aligns perfectly with the spirit of Heimatfest, and their support will allow us to continue offering a high-quality event for residents and visitors alike.” WITZAMFM also noted that “The support of Best Home Furnishings will help enhance the festival experience while ensuring the continued success and growth of this hometown tradition.”
Best Home Furnishings, headquartered in Ferdinand, positioned the sponsorship as an investment in local life. Brian Lange, president of Best Home Furnishings, said, “We’re proud to partner with the Ferdinand Heimatfest as presenting sponsor and invest in this event that celebrates community, connection, and hometown pride. This festival reflects the values that have steered our company for decades. We’re guiding the event to be an affordable, family-friendly entertainment weekend for the community.” Company news pages also note recent recognitions and partnerships, including selection as a winner in the “Empowering Women” event (September 11, 2025) and product partnerships announced in October 2024.
The sponsorship marks a change in the festival’s headline backer. MasterBrand, Inc. served as presenting sponsor for 2023, 2024, and 2025; the festival’s shift to Best Home Furnishings reflects local companies taking visible roles in sustaining community events. Festival organizers say proceeds and partner support contribute not only to programming but also to longer-term community investments. The Heimatfest Committee states it supports the Ferdinand Community Endowment and donates portions of funds to the Dubois County Community Foundation general fund to help keep the town thriving and attractive to employers.
Program highlights for the June weekend underscore the family focus. The Uebelhor Chevy Toyota Main Stage will host headline acts, with GTP Garage Therapy Project on Friday night presented by Jasper Engines and Five Under to rock Saturday night presented by Weyer Electric. Best Home Furnishings will sponsor a Family Fun Zone that includes a balloon artist from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a Dubois County Rotary Club cornhole tournament with registration at 6:00 PM. Other events listed on the festival site include the Backyard BBQ Contest, where $5 buys unlimited tasting and a vote for the People’s Choice Award, and the Heimatfest Car Show.
Sponsors range from festival patrons such as Bob Luegers and Brinkman’s Auto Repair to bronze-level supporters including Voegerl Construction and Uebelhor Radio & TV, reflecting a broad base of local business support. The festival receives funding in part from the Dubois County Visitors Center; for more information on tickets, vendors, and schedules, organizers point to the festival website and the Dubois County Visitors Center at 800.968.4578.
For Ferdinand residents the announcement signals both continuity and local investment: a hometown manufacturer is underwriting a familiar June tradition while festival leaders channel revenue into community endowments and programming. Mark June 19–20 on the calendar and watch the festival pages for detailed schedules as organizers finalize acts and activities.
