Breakroom survey finds Pizza Hut workers report $9-$17 hourly pay
Breakroom users report Pizza Hut cooks earn $9.00-$15.50/hr and shift managers cluster around $11-$17/hr, while drivers show a wide $6.50-$20.00/hr spread.

Breakroom’s Pizza Hut pay page aggregates reported hourly wage ranges submitted by U.S. workers for multiple Pizza Hut roles, showing cooks at $9.00-$15.50 per hour and shift managers in several entries around $11-$17 per hour, with drivers reported as $6.50-$20.00 per hour. The page includes a dataset described as "Based on data from 738 people who took the Breakroom Quiz between December 2024 and February 2026," and it was last updated February 15, 2026.
The site’s table lists job counts alongside pay bands for many roles: crew member 2,337 jobs at $8.65-$15.63 per hour, driver 2,370 jobs at $6.50-$20.00 per hour, assistant manager 2,559 jobs at $11.83-$20.00 per hour, and general manager 3,094 jobs at $39.5k-$60.0k per year. Other entries include server 763 jobs at $5.64-$19.38 per hour, CSR 50 jobs at $8.45-$16.80 per hour, and dishwasher 5 jobs at $9.00-$15.40 per hour. Production worker appears with a pay range of $7.38-$15.40 per hour but no job count is shown.
The Breakroom page shows internal inconsistencies that complicate interpretation. In addition to the 738-person citation, the page elsewhere states "1,274 people who work at Pizza Hut have taken the Breakroom Quiz," with no reconciliation of the two totals. The shift manager title appears three times with the same job count of 1,751 but three different pay ranges - $11.06-$17.00, $11.25-$17.85, and $11.29-$16.78 per hour - and the table includes both a "Cook 463 jobs $9.00-15.50 per hour" row and a separate "Pizza cook 463 jobs" row with an empty pay cell.

Beyond hourly pay, the page flags benefits and workplace protections: "Do Pizza Hut give paid sick leave? No. Most people don’t get paid when they’re sick at Pizza Hut." It also states "Do Pizza Hut pay breaks? Sometimes. Only some people get paid breaks at Pizza Hut." Breakroom’s employer-facing messaging on the page bluntly reads "Uh oh. Pizza Hut hasn’t committed to creating great jobs yet," encouraging head office to "sign up here to get started on your Breakroom journey."
Breakroom frames its data in a wider context, claiming "We know what people are really paid at over 11,400 US employers" and listing comparative pay for cooks at other employers: In-N-Out Burger $18.75-$25.50 per hour, Four Seasons Hotels $19.75-$29.00 per hour, HMSHost $17.08-$26.32 per hour, and Panda Express $19.00-$24.50 per hour. The page also advertises "There are currently 13,774 job openings at Pizza Hut across the USA."

The Breakroom page makes clear these figures are self-reported via its Quiz tool and contains gaps and duplicated entries that Breakroom has not reconciled on the page. The mix of hourly ranges, annual salaries for general managers, and contradictory respondent counts means the pay bands offer a snapshot of reported experiences but raise questions that require confirmation from Breakroom and from Pizza Hut corporate for a definitive accounting.
