Entergy Arkansas Hosts Customer Care Pop-up at Phillips Community College
Entergy Arkansas scheduled customer care events Feb. 9–11 offering LIHEAP sign‑ups, billing help and energy‑saving advice; the Feb. 9 Phillips Community College site is listed as 2807 US‑165, Stuttgart, but a March 5 notice named PCCUA in Helena‑West Helena.

Entergy Arkansas scheduled a customer care pop-up for Feb. 9 to help customers sign up for LIHEAP, resolve billing questions and learn about payment options; Entergy’s Feb. 5 news release lists the Feb. 9 location as Phillips Community College, 2807 US‑165, Stuttgart, AR 72160, while a March 5 announcement referenced Phillips Community College (PCCUA) in Helena‑West Helena. The conflicting venue statements have not been reconciled publicly.
Entergy’s Feb. 5 news release said, “Entergy Arkansas will host a series of in-person customer care events in Jefferson and Arkansas counties beginning Monday, Feb. 9, connecting customers with tools, resources and community partners focused on providing on-site assistance and energy savings options.” The company’s schedule showed events running 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9 at the Phillips Community College address in Stuttgart and on Tuesday–Wednesday, Feb. 10–11 at the Pine Bluff Convention Center, 1 Convention Center Dr, Pine Bluff, AR 71601.
The release spelled out the on-site services customers could access. “At each location, Entergy Arkansas customer service representatives will be available to help customers sign up for LIHEAP assistance; answer billing questions; provide details about flexible payment options, energy-saving tips and information about programs designed to help customers reduce monthly energy costs,” the Feb. 5 statement reads. Events were described as in-person, open to the public and requiring no appointment in order to connect Entergy customers directly with staff and partner organizations.
Customers planning to apply for LIHEAP were instructed to bring specific documentation to the events: a driver’s license or state-issued ID, Social Security card or number, proof of all income, a copy of the most recent electric bill and a lease agreement if living in subsidized housing or if utilities are included in rent. The Feb. 5 materials also listed community resources expected to be part of the pop-ups, including LIHEAP application assistance, Entergy Arkansas customer support, First Electric, Arkansas Department of Human Services, Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, Arkansas Minority Health Commission, Entergy Solutions, Single Parent Scholarship Fund, Phillips Community College, Bill Toolkit and payment assistance programs, and Single Stop information.

The Pine Bluff site noted an operational policy that could affect attendees: the schedule entry for Feb. 10–11 included “CLEAR BAG POLICY ENFORCED” for the Pine Bluff Convention Center. The Feb. 5 release was posted by Lamor Williams in Little Rock; the separate March 5 announcement that named PCCUA in Helena‑West Helena did not include an author in the provided material.
Because Entergy’s schedule provides a full street address for the Feb. 9 Phillips Community College listing while the March 5 notice names a different campus, local customers and partner agencies should be aware of the discrepancy; reporters and officials recommended confirming the correct Phillips Community College campus with Entergy Arkansas or PCCUA before traveling for in-person LIHEAP sign-up or bill-assistance. Verifying the venue will determine where people can obtain immediate help with LIHEAP applications, billing questions and flexible payment options that affect monthly household energy costs.
