Eric Haze and Tradman's Bonsai Announce Tokyo Exhibition Feb 21–24
A New York artist-meets-bonsai collaboration will be shown at TRADMAN’S TOKYO Feb 21–24; Eric Haze debuts bonsai pots and limited apparel, free entry.

A new cross-cultural exhibition pairs New York graffiti-inflected artist ERIC HAZE with TRADMAN’S BONSAI for a four-day show at TRADMAN’S TOKYO in Marunouchi. The ERIC HAZE×TRADMAN’S BONSAI EXHIBITION runs Feb. 21–24, 2026, with free admission and public hours from 11:00 to 20:00 (final day closes at 18:00).
The collaboration, announced Feb. 11, 2026, brings Haze’s first-ever bonsai pot works to a bonsai-focused presentation that explicitly aims to merge street culture and traditional Japanese craft. The organizers say the show will focus on shared narratives “世代や国境を超えて受け継がれてきたそれぞれのカルチャーが持つストーリーに着目し、両者に共通するアイコンや思想を軸に、プロダクトおよび作品を制作.” The PR description also frames the program as an effort to “盆栽を主役に据え、両者が共有する『本質的な共通項』にフォーカス” and to communicate “盆栽の新たな可能性と価値を国内外に発信してまいります.”
Practical details for visitors and media are clear. The venue address is Shin-Tokyo Building 1F, Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; the venue phone is 03-6256-0471. A press and VIP preview will be held Feb. 20, with a press preview from 11:00 to 18:00 and a VIP preview from 18:00 to 20:00. Images used in the event announcement are available for download, and registered media can obtain organizer contact details and press-conference information.
Collectors and style-minded visitors can expect both gallery works and a small product drop. The HAZE×TRADMAN’S BONSAI POT is listed as a work and a product, priced at 22,000 yen (tax included). Apparel items include HAZE×TRADMAN’S BONSAI KOIKUCHI SHIRTS (19,800 yen, BLACK, sizes M and L), EASY PANTS (16,500 yen, BLACK, sizes M and L), HOODED SWEATSHIRTS (19,800 yen, BLACK and GREY, sizes S–XL), and L/S TEES (11,000 yen, BLACK and WHITE, sizes S–XL). The collaboration is promoted on social media as “HAZE x TRADSMANS : @tradsmansbonsai.”

Context on the two collaborators helps explain the cultural stake. The release describes ERIC HAZE as “ニューヨークのグラフィティカルチャーを牽引してきたERIC HAZE.” Haze’s agent is Bees International Co., Ltd., a Tokyo-based company founded in December 1990 that operates streetwear brands including XLARGE, X-girl, MILKFED., and SILAS; Bees International lists 400 employees as of January 2026 and capital of 45,000,000 yen.
TRADMAN’S BONSAI is operated by Matsubaya Co., Ltd., led by Kojima Teppei. Kojima’s background in music, fashion, and apparel buying led him to bonsai; he founded TRADMAN’S BONSAI in 2015 and established Matsubaya in 2016. Kojima’s stated philosophy is “伝統とは革新の連続である,” and Matsubaya’s past brand collaborations include shu uemura, NIKE, Dior, and RIMOWA.
For anyone tracking the intersection of design, fashion, and living art, the exhibition is a rare chance to see bonsai framed through streetwise graphics and to buy collaborative pieces. The show opens to the public Feb. 21; press and VIP preview access is Feb. 20; for venue inquiries call 03-6256-0471. Expect this project to test how far bonsai can travel as both tradition and contemporary expression.
