Evant junior-high athletes set multiple personal records at Lometa March 3

Reese T and Levi B were among Evant junior-high standouts at the Lometa JH Track Meet on March 3, 2026, with Reese clocking a 3:10.14 in the 800 and Levi B posting a 12.05 100-meter personal record, Evant ISD reported in a March 4, 2026 results post. The district said the meet was the Elks’ first of the season and noted that “Evant Elks and Lady Elks all competed well in our first meet of the season. There were several personal records set by the 7th and 8th graders!!! Many of our athletes received ribbons for their efforts.”

On the boys side, Evant’s relay squads and field-event throwers registered measurable marks. The boys 4 x 100 team of Levi, Connor, Bryson and Javier ran 58.18, while the same quartet posted 2:08 in the 4 x 200 and finished 4th. Javier S threw the discus 72' 8 for a 5th-place finish and a PR. Reese T added a 400 PR of 1:21 and the 3:10.14 800 PR; Kaine L ran the 800 in 3:21.43 and the 400 in 1:27. In sprints, Levi B’s 12.05 was marked PR, Bryson B ran a 13.0 100 with a PR and Behr B recorded a 15.9 100 PR and a 35.0 200 PR. The boys long jump listings included Bryson B at 9' 10 and Waylon W at 8' 4.5.

Girls events produced multiple placings and PRs across jumps, throws and relays. Isela R took 3rd in the long jump at 11' 4 with a PR and placed 2nd in the triple jump at 24' 11.5 with a PR; her 100 was listed as a 15.25 PR. Ashlyn S had a long jump of 11' 0 for 4th and a 200 PR of 31.6. Elizabeth N jumped 10' 9 for 5th and ran the 400 in 1:32. Rachel C posted a 27' 3 shot put for 5th with a PR and a 49' 1 discus for 8th with a PR; Maya G threw the discus 59' 5 for 5th and a PR. The girls 4 x 100 team of Elizabeth, Ashlyn, Bella and Isela ran 1:02.66 for 5th and the result was marked PR; that same quartet ran a 2:27 in the 4 x 200.

The Evant ISD posting contains a few duplicated and misplaced lines that the district left in the results feed: the boys 4 x 200 entry appears twice and a stray “Mia S 37.2” fragment shows up inside the boys block before Mia S is listed under the girls 200 with a 37.2. The boys 100 list also includes an entry printed as “BG G 19.38,” an ambiguous identifier recorded exactly as posted.
