Faith Understood Leads Steady Inglis Digital USA March Sale at $80,000
Faith Understood, a 5-year-old Catholic Boy mare bred by Whitehorse Stable, topped Inglis Digital USA’s March online sale at $80,000 as the session sold 20 lots to 18 buyers.

Faith Understood, a 5-year-old broodmare prospect by Catholic Boy, led Inglis Digital USA’s March online sale when Chris Nolan bought the Grade 3-placed mare for $80,000. The online session sold 20 lots to 18 different buyers from a 35-horse catalogue, a result outlets characterized as steady trade in the broodmare-prospect market.
Bred in Kentucky by Whitehorse Stable and consigned by owner Team Adams Racing, Faith Understood retired with $129,512 in earnings after a Keeneland maiden win in April of her 3-year-old season, a runner-up finish in the Memories of Silver Stakes at Aqueduct, and a third in the 2024 Honeymoon Stakes at Santa Anita Park—listed in coverage as a GIII placing and noted elsewhere as G3T. The mare is out of the stakes-placed Munnings mare Zia, who has produced four winners from five foals to race, and her page includes family black-type such as English champion Negligent and U.S. Grade 2 winner Selflessly. Faith Understood was made available for inspection in the Gulfstream Park barn of trainer Jennifer Young.
Inglis Digital CEO Kyle Wilson framed the session as global in reach, saying, “We saw action from all over the globe today. Thanks to all of our customers who continue to support us and we wish everyone the best of luck with their purchases.” The company reported international participation across inspections in Arizona, California, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland and New York, and noted stallion seasons and mares from multiple U.S. states were offered.
Tuesday’s second-highest price belonged to Backstretch Rose, a 5-year-old stakes-placed mare by Army Mule who sold to Cash and Company for $70,000. Notable consignments included Boopsie D, a daughter of American Pharoah who is in foal to Mo Town and offered alongside her yearling Epicenter filly, consigned by Double O Bloodstock and located at James Lane Farm near Versailles. Paramount Sales presented a multiple-horse consignment that included a mare in foal to Title Ready. TrueNicks listed no-guarantee stallion seasons made available through the catalogue to Cloud Computing, Dialed In, Flameaway, Flat Out, Fulsome, Higher Power, Modernist, Pappacap and Pinehurst.

Offerings that finished under their reserves on Tuesday are still available to purchase on the Inglis Digital USA website. Visit the site's "Catalogue" page and click on "Make An Offer" next to the available horses. Inglis Digital USA is also taking entries for its inaugural Curlin Florida Derby Sale targeting horses entered on the Florida Derby card at Gulfstream Park; entries begin to close Friday, March 13, 2026, the catalogue will be released Wednesday, March 18, 2026, and bidding will close Monday, March 23, 2026.
The March session did not produce a blockbuster headline gross but did show buyer diversity and follow-through into the spring calendar, leaving a pipeline of RNAs and a new Curlin Florida Derby auction that will test whether the steady trade seen in early March expands into stronger demand later this month.
