Food for All Mobile Pantry at Adams County Fairgrounds Feb. 24

Catholic Charities of Southwestern Ohio will bring the Food for All Mobile Pantry to the Adams County Fairgrounds at 836 Boyd Avenue in West Union on Tuesday, February 24. Organizers say distribution will run from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., and residents should plan to arrive during that window for on-site pickup.

The notice to the community includes eligibility and documentation instructions: "TEFAP eligibility income requirements of 200% at or above the federal poverty line apply." It also specifies what attendees must bring for verification: "Food will be distributed from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Please bring a photo ID and a recent piece of mail with your current address."

Local churches, the Free Store Foodbank and community volunteers are listed as partners for the event. "This event is sponsored by Catholic Charities of Southwestern Ohio, many local churches, the Free Store Foodbank and community volunteers," the announcement states, and it adds that "Volunteers are needed to help distribute the pantry items."

Organizers included a weather contingency in the notice to residents and volunteers: "If schools are closed to due the weather there will be no food distribution."
