Gold House Kicks Off NYFW With Inaugural Gold Celebration at Chinese Tuxedo
Gold House brought over 200 leaders to Chinese Tuxedo for a Lunar New Year Gold Celebration with Bridgerton, Hennessy, and Tatcha activations and a limited-edition mahjong set launch.

Gold House staged its inaugural Lunar New Year Gold Celebration at Chinese Tuxedo and the adjoining Opera House in Chinatown, New York, across February 12–13, 2026, positioning the evening as an unofficial kickoff to New York Fashion Week and bringing together over 200 influential leaders and tastemakers. Presenting activations included Netflix’s Bridgerton, Hennessy, Tatcha, and Publicis Groupe, and the organizer described the gathering as part of its effort to shape cultural opportunity and expand into heritage-centered franchises.
The event was co-hosted by Yerin Ha and Hudson Williams, with a co-host roster listed in Gold House materials that also names Prabal Gurung, Eva Chen, Bowen Yang, Daniel Martin, Melissa King, Bach Mai, Kim Shui, and Liam Oh. Editorial coverage and Getty image captions showed additional attendees including Lola Tung, Anna Cathcart, Suni Lee, Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Jessel Taank, Blake Abbie, Irene Kim, Bing Chen, Eunice Bae, and Isabel Tan. Prabal Gurung was credited with Hudson Williams’ look for the evening, and Cosmopolitan noted that Hudson Williams celebrated his 25th birthday at midnight and danced with his mother during the party.
On-site activations and atmosphere were concrete and branded: multiple mahjong lounges hosted competitive play and the night marked the launch of a limited-edition custom mahjong set from Gold House; Tatcha ran a beauty touch-up station; Hennessy offered custom cocktails; passed appetizers circulated; karaoke moments and dancing punctuated the evening. Papermag’s NYFW schedule context listed an 8:00PM slot for the Gold House Lunar New Year Celebration, and Cosmopolitan’s recap provided timeline detail that anchored the birthday celebration at the midnight hour.

Alongside the party, Gold House announced a slate of cultural initiatives tied to the celebration: a cultural guide to educate on Lunar New Year practices across the diaspora, a creator campaign, a bespoke narrative film, and additional Gold House celebrations planned in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The organization framed the program as part of its plan to "kick off its expansion into cultural franchises centered around heritage holidays, artifacts, and stories," positioning these launches as an extension of Gold House’s mission to shape opportunity through culture.
Photographs from the evening circulated with Getty Images credits in national coverage, and event materials and social posts referenced partner tags such as Hennessy US. The celebration offered a model of experiential, branded programming that combined celebrity co-hosts, tangible cultural artifacts like a limited-edition mahjong set, and cross-industry activations at a landmark Chinatown venue as New York Fashion Week began.
