Home Depot to Host Q4 and Fiscal Year Earnings Call Feb. 24
Home Depot will hold its fourth quarter and fiscal year earnings call Feb. 24 at 9:00 a.m. ET, a key update for associates because results and guidance can affect staffing, hours and store operations.

The Home Depot will host its Fourth Quarter & Fiscal Year earnings conference call on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 9:00 a.m. ET, the company said in its announcement. The session will be delivered as a live conference call with a livestreamed webcast; the webcast will be archived, and the replay will be available beginning at approximately noon on February 24.
Employees and store managers commonly watch earnings calls because quarterly results and management commentary can shape decisions on scheduling, hourly staffing, incentive programs and capital allocation. The Home Depot employs over 470,000 associates and operates a large footprint - "At the end of the third quarter, the company operated a total of 2,356 retail stores and over 1,200 SRS locations across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, 10 Canadian provinces and Mexico" - so shifts in demand and guidance ripple across many stores and service locations.
The company provided webcast access instructions in its release: "A webcast will be available by logging onto [The Home Depot's investor site] and selecting the Fourth Quarter Earnings Conference Call icon or directly at [link]." The press copy supplied to reporters omitted the explicit URL. The investor relations page also invites users to subscribe to e-mail alerts: "You may automatically receive The Home Depot, Inc. financial information by e-mail. To choose your options for e-mail notification, please enter your e-mail address below and click Submit." For investor or media inquiries, the release lists an IR Coordinator phone at 770-384-2871. Customer service and store support contacts shown in the IR fragments include Customer Service 1 (800) 466-3337, The Home Depot Store Support Center 1-770-433-8211 and toll-free Store Support Center 1-800-654-0688. The IR copy includes an obfuscated contact string: Email: (/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#aec7c0d8cbdddac1dcf1dccbc2cfdac7c1c0ddeec6c1c3cbcacbdec1da80cdc1c3).
Market and analyst context heading into the call was mixed. Pre-release analyst expectations published ahead of the event projected a profit of $2.53 per share for the quarter, down 19.2% from $3.13 in the year-ago quarter. By contrast, reporting on the company’s fiscal fourth quarter - the three-month period that ended Feb. 2 - showed stronger results: earnings per share of $3.02 versus $3.01 expected and revenue of $39.70 billion versus $39.16 billion expected. Net income rose to $3.0 billion, or $3.02 per share, from $2.80 billion, or $2.82 per share, in the year-ago period; revenue increased 14% from $34.79 billion. Comparable sales increased 0.8% company-wide and 1.3% in the U.S., and transactions climbed to 400.4 million, up nearly 8% year over year, with an average ticket of $89.11.
Management commentary cited weather-related effects and a modest lift from hurricane-affected regions. "Regions hit by hurricanes Helene and Milton contributed about 0.6% to comparable sales, McPhail said." McPhail also framed the demand picture for homeowners: "They tell us their lives are moving on," he said. "Their families are growing. They're moving for a new job. They're upsizing their home. They want to upgrade their standard of living. Home improvement always persists, and so the question, I think, will be around the mindset of whether long-term rates have gotten to a new normal." Shares reacted positively in one report, closing at $393.29, up nearly 3%.
For associates, the takeaway is practical: stronger-than-expected sales and transaction growth can translate into fuller schedules, heavier in-store traffic and a possible follow-up from management about labor and operations when executives take questions on the call. Watch the replay beginning around noon ET on Feb. 24 for the full presentation and Q&A, and check The Home Depot investor site for the exact webcast link and any posted earnings materials that will clarify guidance and near-term plans.
