Home Expo Hawaiʻi returns to Kona with local builders, designers, vendors

The Kona‑Kohala Chamber of Commerce is staging Home Expo Hawaiʻi at the Kaleiopapa Convention Center at the Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa, bringing 20-plus local builders, designers and vendors to Kailua‑Kona for a free public weekend March 14 and March 15. Admission and parking are complimentary, and the expo will run Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Organizers say the show will be "packed with products and services to remodel, redecorate, and elevate your living space," featuring prize giveaways and a grand prize drawing for a free night’s stay at the Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa. Attendees can hear live radio from KAPA with D.J. Darde Gamayo on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and event materials list more than 20 local exhibitors under one roof.

Wendy Laros, President and CEO of the Kona‑Kohala Chamber of Commerce, framed the expo as a community resource: "Our organization is committed to providing opportunities that promote local resources and support our community," she said.
