Hong Kong Slam named PPA Tour Asia 2026 finale with $1.1M purse
Hong Kong Slam will close PPA Tour Asia Oct 19–25 with up to US$1.1 million purse and the exclusive roaring dragon head medal for 2026.

PPA Tour Asia has designated the Hong Kong Slam as the season finale for its expanded 2026 calendar, scheduling the Slam for October 19–25 and offering a pro prize purse of up to US$1.1 million. The announcement names the Hong Kong Slam as the one and only chance for players to claim the roaring dragon head, the crowning piece of the tour’s interlocking hardware.
Kimberly Koh, Managing Director of UPA Asia, framed the slate as a regional growth moment: “The 2026 calendar reflects the incredible growth of professional pickleball across Asia. We’re expanding into new cities and bringing the PPA experience to more players — both Pros and Amateurs — across the region. With the Hong Kong Slam set to bring together the sport’s top stars, passionate fans, and world-class entertainment, it’s the perfect finale to what promises to be a landmark year for the sport.”
The full PPA Tour Asia 2026 calendar lists ten stops across seven markets, with prize pools ranging from US$50,000 to US$1,100,000. The schedule published with the announcement runs: MB Hanoi Cup April 1–5, US$300,000; Kuala Lumpur Open May 13–17, US$50,000; Macao Open May 27–31, US$70,000; China Open 1 June 17–21, US$70,000; Tokyo Open July 1–4, US$50,000; Singapore Open July 23–26, US$70,000; Ho Chi Minh City Open August 6–9, US$70,000; China Open 2 August 20–23, US$70,000; Kuala Lumpur Cup September 9–13, US$300,000; and Hong Kong Slam October 19–25, US$1,100,000.
Connor Pardoe, Founder and CEO of the Carvana PPA Tour, placed the Asia slate inside a broader PPA expansion: “The Carvana PPA Tour has seen incredible growth since our founding in 2019, and this broadened season is further evidence of the arrival of pickleball on the professional sports stage.” Coverage tied to the announcement notes that all points earned at any tournament under the PPA umbrella will count toward a unified global ranking and that the PPA Asia season will feature the most ranking points up for grabs in its history.
The announcement also promotes fan and amateur access alongside elite competition. The “Play Where the Pros Play” experience will allow hobbyists and diehards to play on the same courts and under the same lights as pros, and amateur events will run alongside the pro draw with age and rating categories on offer for all. Promotional copy for the Hong Kong stop invites fans to “pack your paddle for dinks by day and dai pai dong dining by night.”

The schedule and prize-purse details were distributed through a PR Newswire release datelined SINGAPORE on Feb. 25, 2026, with additional coverage on Feb. 27, 2026. An Instagram post from PPA Tour Asia also amplified the Hong Kong dates and the up to US$1.1 million prize figure in social copy.
Hong Kong will close out a ten-stop PPA Tour Asia run that pairs two US$300,000 events and several mid-range stops with a blockbuster finale, positioning the Hong Kong Slam as the region’s biggest professional pickleball tournament for 2026 and the final opportunity for players to complete the 2026 tour medal set with the roaring dragon head.
