Hornby OO Releases Arrive at Gaugemaster in January 2026
Gaugemaster announced on January 8 that a fresh wave of Hornby OO (1:76) stock is arriving in early 2026, including LNER and GWR Class 800 train packs, the long-awaited Class 47 'The Sapper', and a Class 153 in Northern Rail livery. These arrivals bring ready-to-run and DCC-ready options that matter to modellers completing formations, upgrading decoders, and equipping branch-line layouts.
On January 8, Gaugemaster posted an arrival update listing a series of Hornby OO deliveries and imminent arrivals scheduled for early 2026. Top of the list is the LNER Class 800 Train Pack, supplied with matching coaches and powered and dummy cars fitted to provide realistic directional lighting. That combination will simplify creating accurate high-speed sets on the layout without extensive rewiring or retrofits.
The update also highlights additions to the GWR Class 800 range. Newly tooled Train Pack and coach variants are being released to help modellers complete full formations. Those who have been piecing together Intercity Express formations will find the new variants useful for finishing rakes and matching running numbers and liveries across multiple units.
Among the standouts is the long-awaited Class 47 'The Sapper', arriving in both DCC-Ready and DCC-Fitted versions.
