Indian Motorcycle Marks 125 Years With Limited-Edition Collection And Year-Long Campaign
Indian Motorcycle unveiled hand-painted 125th Anniversary bikes plus a matching eight-piece apparel line under a year-long "Never Finished" campaign.

Indian Motorcycle has launched a limited-edition 125th Anniversary Collection and a year-long "Never Finished" campaign that the company says will roll out products, programs, and rider promotions throughout 2026. The brand called the release "In celebration of 125 years of iconic, American craftsmanship" and positioned the collection as an exclusive motorcycle and apparel offering tied to the company’s founding in Springfield, Mass., in 1901.
Company materials describe three hand-painted models as the core of the collection - Chief Vintage, Scout Bobber and Indian Challenger - finished in a red-and-black 125th livery with metallic microflakes, pinstriping, ghosted "125th Anniversary" graphics, exclusive badging and individually numbered serial plates. Indian Motorcycle’s PR emphasizes that these items are limited and collectible while maintaining the mechanical and technological parity of the standard models.
The Chief Vintage 125th Anniversary Edition is the most detailed release so far in media accounts. Rider Magazine reports the Chief Vintage will be limited to 250 units worldwide and carries a price of $24,999, about $5,000 more than the base model. Rider Magazine’s spec notes for the Chief Vintage list Indian Motorcycle’s Thunderstroke 116 engine with 156 Nm of torque, a 101 mm (4-inch) touchscreen powered by RIDE COMMAND, Pathfinder Adaptive LED Headlight and polished rider floorboards among the features shown with the limited edition. Multiple outlets stress that these enhancements are largely cosmetic treatments atop the standard model’s specification.
The Scout Bobber and Challenger limited editions are described with matching visual treatments and unique serial plates. Rider Magazine and Ridermagazine report production limits of 450 units for the Scout Bobber and 250 units for the Challenger, and they note Ride Command+ features such as vehicle locator, maintenance reminders, configurable gauges, detailed bike and ride info and navigation. The collection is accompanied by a limited-edition apparel line said to include eight pieces - leather and varsity jackets, a crewneck sweatshirt, men’s and women’s T-shirts and a hat - curated to mirror the bikes’ palette and exclusive graphics and reportedly available through Indian dealerships.
There is one clear discrepancy in reporting: Indian Motorcycle’s press materials repeatedly state "three hand-painted models" while Rider Magazine and Ridermagazine list a fourth bike, the Roadmaster, as receiving 125th treatment. Production counts and the Chief Vintage price cited above come from Rider Magazine; Indian Motorcycle’s own materials and PR Newswire remain the authoritative baseline for the campaign’s shape. Nate Secor, Indian Motorcycle’s director of marketing, framed the effort as continuity with the founders’ drive, saying, "The pursuit of innovation that drove our founders continues to drive us today," and added that the "Never Finished" campaign is "a commitment to our riders that we are always innovating, always competing, and will always be pushing forward."
Indian Motorcycle says more information will be shared throughout 2026 on its channels, and the collection’s limited runs, distinct serial numbering and the reported Chief Vintage pricing make these editions notable anniversary gifts for collectors and partners who prize provenance and exclusivity.
