JIS Spring in Miami Beach Promises Key Buying Moment for Jewelers
JIS Spring will run March 8–10, 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, with new Brands and Accessories & Gifts pavilions and an opening "Sail and Socialize" reception tied to Miami's cruise trade.

As international jewelry trade continues to evolve, the JIS Show (Jewelers International Showcase) in Miami Beach, FL is reinforcing its position as the leading global sourcing hub connecting the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean," a PRNewswire release said, setting the tone for the March 8–10, 2026 edition at the Miami Beach Convention Center produced by RX USA, part of RELX. The announcement frames the spring event as a concentrated sourcing window where retailers can secure immediate inventory aligned with travel and seasonal demand.
Organizers and trade press position the show as a spring restocking opportunity that aligns with seasonal buying cycles and immediate delivery needs. Fashionunited described the timing as ideal for replenishing stock ahead of Mother’s Day, the wedding season and graduations, while JCK quoted Sara McDonough, event director for JIS: "The spring show in Miami Beach allows us to connect jewelry retailers and suppliers in one centralized hub." McDonough added that the timing and location create "a perfect destination for a unique community" of Florida boutiques, Caribbean tourism buyers and designers across the Americas, and that "This is the show that the jewelry trade trusts for immediate delivery and secure transactions."
Programming for 2026 expands beyond traditional cases. The show will introduce an Accessories & Gifts Pavilion and a Brands Pavilion to spotlight emerging designers alongside established names, and will stage "On Trend with JIS" conversations and pop-up events focused on metals and engagement ring styles. JCK reported a new lineup of exhibitors that includes David Kord, Hoover & Strong and Orolink, with an opening-night welcome framed as Miami-facing: Fashionunited refers to the reception as "Sail and Socialize" while JCK lists a "Sail & Socialize" welcome reception on March 8 in homage to Miami’s cruise industry ties.

Buyer demographics and category focus are explicit. Fashionunited notes the edition is expected to draw particularly strong participation from buyers across Central and South America and the Caribbean, and reports that "Nearly half of attendees have indicated interest in silver and fashion jewelry categories, reflecting current sourcing trends." Those category preferences speak to a floor plan that mixes high-volume, immediately available goods with curated designer ranges.
Scale and continuity matter to buyers used to transacting on the floor. JIS’s own archives show the Spring 2024 show occupied a 72,000-square-foot floor and drew more than 3,350 buyers and 325 exhibitors, evidence of the event’s sourcing density and logistical capability. With RX USA at the helm and program additions aimed at cross-category retailing, the March 8 opening — including the "Sail and Socialize"/"Sail & Socialize" reception — positions JIS Spring 2026 as a focused buying moment for jewelers who need secure transactions and immediate delivery ahead of the spring selling season.
