Jason Mengel, Championship Director for the PGA Championship, said "We’ve sold more than half of our initial hospitality inventory at a record pace and are currently outpacing the 15-month benchmark set by five of the last six PGA Championships." Mengel’s comments came as the PGA of America confirmed that several premium viewing locations at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco in Frisco, Texas, have sold out while only limited corporate hospitality packages remain.

Frisco Enterprise reported that 50-person premium suites associated with the 16th hole and the 17th hole fairway have sold out. Localprofile and PGA materials reconcile that 50-person suites overlooking the 17th tee and a small number of options - including 30-person suites on the 16th hole fairway - still show limited availability. The PGA press release adds that the remaining inventory includes private on-course chalets, premium suites and reserved tables, with allocations made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Private on-course chalets, each sized for about 100 people, remain in very limited numbers near the 17th green and are advertised with private bars and buffet service. All on-course hospitality venues are described as climate-controlled with all-inclusive food and beverage service and dedicated parking access for guests, a package mix aimed at corporate buyers and out-of-market visitors planning to attend the May 17-23, 2027 PGA Championship.

The PGA notes hospitality offerings first went on sale last summer, and an additional tranche of inventory was released after unprecedented initial demand. Mengel said, "We are humbled by the tremendous local and regional support since going on-sale, and this response is a great reminder of the magnitude of the historic return of a men’s major to North Texas. We encourage those interested in hospitality to act quickly as we are down to single-digit availability across multiple locations, and larger packages traditionally sell out 10-12 months ahead of the event."

Organizers project heavy international media exposure and crowd size. Mengel expects the championship to deliver more than 250 hours of live coverage across multiple channels, reach nearly 500 million households in more than 170 countries, and draw over 200,000 spectators from around the globe. Those metrics underline why larger corporate packages are moving faster than at most recent PGA Championships.

The tournament sits within a larger economic footprint in Frisco. ICSC materials describe The Fields development as roughly 10 million square feet of commercial space alongside 15,000 planned residences, while Frisco’s population grew from 6,138 in 1990 to nearly 244,000 in 2025. Local investment and incentives include a $160 million city and state package and a $525 million Omni Hotels and Resorts investment in a resort and two courses. Frisco Assistant City Manager Ben Brezina said, "Fields Ranch East is the first golf course designed and constructed to hold major championships and the Ryder Cup."

Prospective buyers should complete the PGA interest form or contact Casey Dadio, Corporate Hospitality Sales Manager, at cdadio@pgahq.com to confirm real-time availability and seating maps. With tournament dates fixed for May 17-23, 2027, and the PGA already scheduling another Championship for 2034 with a tentative Ryder Cup sighting for 2041, hospitality inventory at PGA Frisco is shaping into a multiyear economic and marketing asset for North Texas.
