Locally Owned Rock N' Roll Sushi Opens in Oxford March 9
Rock N' Roll Sushi, locally owned by Brad and Heather Jetton, will open at 1801 West Jackson Avenue in Oxford at 11 a.m. Monday, March 9.

Rock N' Roll Sushi will open its first Oxford restaurant at 11 a.m. Monday, March 9, at 1801 West Jackson Avenue, locally owned and operated by Brad and Heather Jetton. The new location, listed by some outlets as 1801 Jackson Ave W #102, Oxford, MS 38655, is being touted as the chain's first in the city, its fifth in Mississippi and, in multiple reports, the brand's 77th location in the United States.
Brad Jetton, the Oxford franchisee quoted in franchise publicity, said, "We’re stoked to bring Rock N’ Roll Sushi to our community and contribute to the atmosphere of a place we now call home." The restaurant is positioned just minutes from the University of Mississippi campus and a short drive from Oxford's town square, placing the Jettons' concept in the heart of a music-minded college town.

The menu will lean into the brand's rock-themed presentation and American-Japanese fusion. Headliners include the Punk Rock Roll, described in franchise copy as featuring shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and cream cheese on the inside, with seared yellowfin tuna topped with strawberry-avocado-jalapeño-cucumber salad, sweet-chili-ponzu dressing, spicy mayo and eel sauce on the outside. Appetizers listed for the Oxford opening include Spicy Tuna Rockstars and Headbanger Shrimp; other roll names cited across coverage include the Jailhouse Roll, Sweet Home Alabama Roll, Metalhead Roll and Sunset Strip Roll. WhatNow's menu notes add that sections are labeled Opening Acts, Classics, Green Room, Headliners, Kids Rock and After Party, and that a Hibachi Back Stage menu will serve hibachi chicken, filet mignon and shrimp with soup or salad, fried rice, vegetables and "the beloved yum yum sauce."
Hours for the new restaurant are listed uniformly across press materials: Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Coverage also notes a full bar offering wine, beer and sake, and describes the dining room as a high-energy, rock-inspired space consistent with the company's branding. Company website copy reproduced in reporting says, "Boasting concepts and flavors that are big, bold and loud, we’re the only place to experience the rock you love and the rolls you love with the ones you love."
Some reporting contains inconsistencies that bear mentioning: one outlet indicated an expected debut in September or October 2025 and listed founders and growth targets, while several other outlets and local coverage pinpoint the public opening at 11 a.m. March 9; another story included a dateline error listing Oxford as Massachusetts rather than Mississippi. Regardless of prior timelines, the Jettons plan to welcome customers at 11 a.m. Monday, March 9, making Rock N' Roll Sushi the newest dining option adjacent to Ole Miss and Oxford's Square.
